How buying works

  1. We already own these domains: Nexia S.r.l. registered and manages every one of them. Pick a name and pay online by card, in full or, where offered, in monthly installments, interest-free, for the same total price. No third-party seller, no commission, and the invoice comes from Nexia S.r.l.
  2. Pay in full and the domain is registered in your name as soon as you pay (on a payment plan, once the last installment is paid). Either way, you manage the DNS from your dashboard right away, with email forwarding included.
  3. The first year of renewal for domain and DNS is included. Before it expires we remind you at 90, 30 and 7 days, and you decide whether to renew. Transfers to another registrar are free.

Who can register a .eu domain?

A .eu domain can be registered by individuals living in, and companies based in, the European Union or the European Economic Area, and by EU citizens wherever they live.

Do businesses outside Italy pay VAT on .eu domains?

Prices are in euros (EUR) and include 22% Italian VAT. A business outside Italy with a VAT number or tax ID pays the price without VAT and gets an invoice with no VAT; individuals, in Italy or abroad, always pay VAT. At checkout you tell us whether you're buying as a business or an individual, and in which country.

Whose name is the domain registered in, and when?

Yours, or the company's you enter at checkout. Pay in full and the domain is registered in your name as soon as you pay, with DNS control right away; on a payment plan you control the DNS from day one and the domain is registered in your name once the last installment is paid. Once the domain is registered to you, the purchase can't be canceled: there's no cooling-off period.
