About this domain

tappeto.net is a domain name for anyone in the rug business. Tappeto is the Italian word for rug, and it says what you sell in one word. It is seven letters, easy to spell and easy to say: tah-PEH-toh. Some English speakers will need to hear it once, and then it sticks.

Why the name works

It has a clear subject, an Italian flavor that suits home design, and a neutral .net extension that works for a buyer in any country. If you sell rugs to customers in the US or abroad, the name carries the story for you.

Ways to use it

Online rug store: sell Italian-style or handmade rugs to American shoppers, with a brand name that tells them the product before they click.
Rug importer: a wholesaler or boutique shows where each piece comes from and how it is made, and ships it across borders.
Rug cleaning and restoration: a local service offers pickup and delivery, and the name tells customers what you do.
Rug guide or review site: publish advice on materials, sizes and care, under a short and catchy name that matches the topic.
